We’ve been blessed with some truly beautiful fall days recently. And it’s been a little bit of an adventure getting little miss to cooperate and actually wear the things that I pick out.
Right now, we are loving layers, leggings, and boots. And wearing Eli’s old clothes and making them look a little girlie.
But here’s a little recap of some recent fall outfits:
Craft Store Run Wear. I’m lucky I got out the door before the rain started today, because she would’ve insisted on wearing her rain boots, again. And I really wanted her to wear these sneakers.
I like the pop of color that the pink pants brings to her look. And of course, she has her naked doll. Like usual. And that on the right is Elijah being a turd and refusing to get in a picture with her, but also not completely staying out of the photo. Toddlers are the best…
Falling Asleep in the Car before Preschool Pick Up Outfit. If I don’t have her Hunter’s out of sight, she wants to wear them always. Even when it’s not raining.
And she, hilariously, calls them “boobs”. I tried correcting her at first, but it is just too adorable. “On no, Emmy’s boobs!” when one fell off in Target. These kids definitely keep me giggling.
Safety First Wear. Emaline got a “new” bike from our friends, which she calls her motorcycle. But after two incidents when I ran down the driveway to catch my little daredevil from falling, I made her wear a helmet. Then she didn’t want to take it off.
Church Tutu. And then I was too lazy to change her into play clothes. I had a jumper picked out for her but she wanted to wear a “pretty skirt,” so I obliged.
Old Navy is killing it lately in the tiny girl department. I’m obsessed with this poncho for her. The boys stuff is pretty great too.
Play Date at Grandma’s Cozy Outfit. In case you haven’t noticed, I am in love with buffalo plaid lately. These are the same leggings she wore with those Hunter Boots yesterday, just in red. And this face. This face she has been doing lately in protest of saying cheese. It’s sort of a strange, chin down, don’t smile, shy face. Silly girl.
Dressing her is way more fun than dressing myself…
What have your tiny human’s been wearing this fall? Do they let you dress them in whatever, or do they have opinions like my girl here? I’d love to hear in the comments.
