We just got back from a week long trip to the UP–Michigan’s Upper Peninsula for those of you who are not familiar with the mitten.
It was not the best weather, but we still had some fun adventures, and loved spending time will RJ’s entire family. My in-laws rented a gorgeous cabin for us all to stay in together. There was lots of game playing and laughter and disney junior and hiking and eating
I’ll share more about our entire trip later, but here are some family selfies. Because, what better way to capture a moment then a selfie?
Tahquamenon Falls. It’s not the easiest taking a selfie with one monkey on your back and the other monkey wanting to get on your back too…
Tahquamenon Falls. We got caught in a rain storm at the Lower Falls. Luckily I bought some rain ponchos at the dollar store for the trip, so we didn’t get too soaked.
Au Sable Point Light House. Emmy was not a fan of how windy it was up there. And I will never carry a toddler up to the top of a light house again.
Sable Falls. Eli was mad that the beach was closed here. So he refused to smile.
Woodland Park Beach. Probably the only picture from the trip of just RJ and I.
Lake Michigan at a rest stop. Seriously the prettiest rest stop ever. I’m so glad Elijah had to pee. And he was so happy to be playing on the beach and not in the car that he absolutely would not pose for a picture.
So that’s a snippet of what we were up to last week!
