For the past few years, RJ and I decide we are only going to do stocking stuffers for each other. This never happens. RJ inevitably forgets that stocking stuffers should actually fit into a stocking. Plus, I always end up buying him clothes he needs when I find awesome deals.
Oh, and husband–if you are reading this and you don’t want to know what you’ll get in your stocking on Christmas morning, you should probably stop here.
But here are some ideas for stocking stuffers for the man in your life (that will legitimately fit into a stocking):
Dollar Shave Club. We’re starting with practical stocking stuffers. It’s no secret that I love subscription boxes. I already signed RJ up for this subscription to Dollar Shave Club where you get razors in the mail (I picked every other month). My husband may or may not currently shave with his blade attached to the handle of one of my razors because I bought the wrong kind at the store. The first box comes with a handle, so we won’t have this problem anymore.
Socks. I love these Pair of Thieves socks from Target that come in a kid and dad set. Eli loves matching his daddy.
Cord Organizer. This is perfect for my husband because he travels often. I keep seeing this way before Christmas and forgetting about it. So I’m getting it for sure this year. I like this Grid It organizer from, but there are a ton of options for other kinds.
Extra Ear Buds. We lose these often because the tiny humans like to pretend to wear them like daddy. I’m a lover of practical and boring stocking stuffers. These skull candy ones are fun!
Portable Charger. Also great for traveling, and great for anyone really. RJ should probably put one in my stocking, because we have two tiny iPhone addicts…
2-in-1 Hair and Body Wash. My husband likes the least amount of steps as possible when it comes to his morning routine. I usually buy him a nicer 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash for Christmas, because it definitely doesn’t fit into our normal toiletry budget. I think I’ll get him this Jack Black Energizing Cleanser for Hair & Body this year.
Beef Jerky. My husband loves Country Smoke House in Almont, Michigan. We have never bought a jerky from there that we didn’t love. (They have some great gift sets, for non-stocking stuffers.) And what guy doesn’t love jerky?
Gift Cards for Lunch. My husband pretty much never packs his lunch. If I do get leftovers ready for him in the morning, he forgets them 75% (probably actually more like 95%) of the time. So gift cards to his favorite lunch places, like Chipotle, are perfect. This way I know he won’t eat Doritos for lunch, at least not as often.
Beard Balm. I’m not sure if my husband has a beard more because he hates shaving or to keep his face warm, but I like him bearded. This Beard Balm is made right here in Detroit, and my hipster brother in law uses it so I know it’s good stuff. (I’d get him the naked one because scents sometimes perpetuate my migraines.)
Michigan Bottle Opener. Another cool item made in Michigan, this bottle opener is shaped like the mitten. Although, now that I’m writing this I feel like RJ might actually own this already…but it would still be a great gift for your Michigan man.
