So I went back and forth about changing it to every 3 months instead of every month, but I decided to get one more box and then change it to every 3 months. And the reason I decided to get one more monthly box before I change it, is because Stitch Fix is really sort of perfect for busy moms. And just busy girls in general. And I’m really hoping I get some perfect fall items in my box.
Here are the 5 reasons why I’m in love with Stitch Fix and why you should jump on the bandwagon already:
Fitting room situations. You don’t have to deal with a toddler escapee situation in the fitting rooms. Or have your one and a half year old point out “mama’s boobies!” super loud repeatedly.
You try the clothes on in your own house. So it doesn’t matter that your hair hasn’t been brushed in two days or that you don’t have makeup on. You can look at the items you get and take stock of your closet to see what you would wear it with, or if you have an item in your fix that is super similar to something you currently own.
It gets delivered to your door. You don’t even leave your house. Who doesn’t love getting packages? Seriously, it’s like an exciting style surprise that comes right to your door step. My kids even get excited about it.
Your stylist pushes you out of your comfort zone. In each of my fixes, she will send you something you wouldn’t normally choose for yourself. or even attempt to try on. But since it gets sent to your house, it sort of forces you to try it.
The style cards. One of the reasons I love pinterest is because other people put outfits together and I think, huh, I could totally do that. I am not the most stylish person, but the style cards your stylist sends are great, because even if you don’t keep the item from your fix, you can see how to wear a similar style top. Or what kind of jewelry goes with what neckline. I keep all of my style cards and they make getting dressed in a pinch sort of a no brainer. I need to think of a great way to store them in my closet, because I’m pretty sure RJ won’t be on board with me taping them to the closet door…
If you’ve been considering getting Stitch Fix, you should totally go for it. I’m so glad that I went for it after wanting to do it for so long.
Do you want to try it, but have hesitations? Tell me about them in the comments! Do you use Stitch Fix and absolutely love it (or hate it)? I want to know.
