We had the best Memorial Day weekend. We squeezed fun into every minute and I managed to get some photos of most things.
So here’s a rundown of our Memorial Day weekend adventures, according to my iPhone:
The littles had a sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa’s Friday, so Saturday we hit up a playground on our way home.
Then, after nap we went to the Rochester Heritage Days. There was a cool kids area, Pioneer Homestead, set up.
Eli built a log cabin, with Daddy’s help.
Emaline probably would have hit the metal objects with metal spatulas all afternoon. No surprise, she loves making loud noises.
Elijah wanted to go to the playground basically the entire time we weren’t at the playground. He even turned down ice cream to go play.
Emmy went down the slide over and over. She even would shoot off the end and laid on her butt. Like I said, this one is fearless.
We went up to the cottage for the whole day.
They love it there. I wish we could go all the time.
I thought it was hard to photograph two little ones…five is impossible. This is the best picture of the five great grandchildren. Kendall, Emaline, Rylie, Elijah, and Natalie.
After watching his Uncle Brad water ski, Elijah “skied” all afternoon with these two little tugboat sand toys. He even did tricks and fell down.
We had a lazy morning, Emmy got in two good naps. Eli and Daddy played outside a little.
Eli got to eat his second favorite snack food, Doritos.
We went to a BBQ with some friends, the kids played on the trampoline with no major injuries.
Elijah will probably be asking for a tree house now.
Emaline makes everything a baby. Even this parachute guy. She is cuddling him on her shoulder and patting his back. My little mama.
We love busy summer weekends and spending time with family and friends and eating delicious food.
