January flew by, I can’t believe it’s over in a few days. Eli asked me when we are going to Disney World so I explained that first we have mama’s birthday, then Eli and Emmy’s birthday party, then Emaline’s birthday, then Valentine’s Day and then we leave to Disney World.
He was pretty satisfied with that answer. Here is a little bit of what our life has looked like lately, according to my iPhone:
Sometimes, the monkeys are incredibly sweet to each other. Like when Emaline put her arm around her big brother while using the Bible iPad app.
Emaline and I started mommy and me ballet lessons. Baby girl looks stinking adorable in her little leotard.
She was so tuckered out at her first lesson, she had to rest on the floor during the last song.
She occasionally, well often, dumps out toys so that she can climb into the bin.
We took Elijah to the NAIAS for his first autoshow experience.
He loves to pretend that he’s asleep.
And I really want a Chrysler Pacifica minivan. The have built in vacuums…how amazing for all of the stray gold fish and hard french fries and donut crumbs. Not that I ever let my kids eat any of those things in the car…
Emaline asks for tubby time every single day.
Elijah came to ballet with us and the teacher let him join in. He sort of stole the show, especially on this bridge exercise which he informed me, “I’m really good at this, because I’m pretending the floor is hot lava.”
Baby girl ran into the kitchen all disshelved and neither of the tiny humans would fess up to what happened.
We celebrated my birthday (I’m 31 tomorrow guys!) at my parents and I had two sweet little helpers to blow out my candles.
Not too much excitement. Not too many adventures. But there will be so much excitement and so many adventures for the Grunewald Fam next month.
And I can’t wait.
What have you been up to lately?
