Here’s a glimpse into life lately, at the Grunewald house, according to my iPhone:
My Stitch Fix came this morning, and this is the longest I have gone without trying a Fix on. Mostly because it’s impossible to try clothes on when you have to carry your 30 pound two year old around with you. And, yes, I requested a second fix in March…but it’s almost April, so I’m counting it as April. I’ll share it with you next week. I promise.
We did some egg coloring this morning, and Eli was rocking some major bedhead.
It wasn’t as messy as I had anticipated, but Emmy was far from gentle. She would drop them and squeeze them, so now about half of the eggs are cracked.
They were proud at the end.
Emaline is looking so big lately, isn’t she? And I need to buy her the next size up Hunter boots because she wants squeezes her little foot into them every day and I know they are too small on her.
I love helping in Eli’s preschool class and watching him interact with his little friends. Am I the only one who wanted that doll house so much as a child?
Then we had a little mama son date. I spend so little time one on one with this kid. It was so nice to just be together all afternoon and talk and be silly.
We got his skinny butt some pants to wear for Easter at Old Navy. He had say good bye to his BFF the Old Navy dog.
Then we went on a Target run in the rain before…
HIS HAIRCUT! I am so attached to his long hair, but it was getting pretty shaggy. Gillian cleaned it up and he looks so handsome.
He’s pretty attached to his hair, too. When I suggested a short, short haircut he got really upset. So we’ll keep it long until he wants it cut off.
We went to our church’s Easter Celebration last week and the kids had so much fun. Eli loved putt putt. Emmy loved eating the sucker while carrying around a golf ball.
And we made some adorable bunny masks and a Holy Week craft.
My two crazy monkeys now want to pose for picturess with their toys. I know, I have created this with the constant picture taking. It’s kind of funny though, right?
What have you been up to in your house lately? Any fun Easter activities? Let me know in the comments.
