I know you’re probably getting sick of posts about our move, but we are all moved in!
If being surrounded by unpacked boxes and eating on a folding table is considered all moved in…
I feel like unpacking is a never ending task. Each day I give myself a goal of what to unpack. It has been the master bath the past 3 days. And it is still not unpacked. I get so sidetracked and have a million things that I want to do. And Emaline decided she doesn’t want to nap anymore. And the kids need to eat and have a tiny bit of attention from their mama.
Oh, and I did laundry nonstop yesterday. Nonstop. There was a serious laundry back up since the last week or two I haven’t really spent any time at all on doing laundry, unless it was to wash pee pee sheets. So I didn’t even count how many loads I did yesterday, and there are still piles of sorted laundry on my family room floor. Well, they were sorted until the kids entertained themselves by throwing all the laundry all over the room.
They also threw my neatly folded piles all over the room…
I love my children. I love my children. I love my children.
Since I know a good chunk of you only read my blog to see pictures of my adorable but incredibly sassy toddlers, I’m sprinkling a few completely unrelated photos for your enjoyment. Plus, cute pictures are an excellent distraction from the real life chaos that our house currently is.
Thank goodness Eli has VBS this week, or else I probably would be even less productive than I have been.
I need some order and direction in this whole unpacking thing. I’m giving myself a month, which seems like way too long, but considering the minimal progress I have made thus far, it is completely likely that I will need an entire month.
Now, back to the unpacking. Or maybe just playing with Emaline. We’ll see.
