As much as I love summer time, I can’t believe that Eli’s school year is over. Remember his First Day of Preschool? He seems so much older now.
His smile is the same but his hair is way long. Don’t worry, Mom, he’s getting a trim soon.
He no longer calls grown ups “humans” and he ever since our doctors appointment last week, he’s been telling me he wants to be a Power Ranger Doctor. And I guess he no longer considers his baby sister a baby, since his favorite baby is now his buddy Jonah’s baby who isn’t here yet.
We’re so lucky that Eli had two amazing teachers who he loves so much. We will sure miss their class.
I put him in the same tee, from Hatch for Kids, that he wore on his first day of 3 year old preschool. It still fits him, because he just gets taller and not wider.
We still have his end of the year picnic next week, so he will see all of his friends and his favorite teachers then. I feel like we should’ve done something special for his last day of school, but I didn’t. We’ll have to start something next year.
Do you have a last day of school tradition with your tiny humans? Tell me what it is in the comments, I need ideas!
