Since this is my third pregnancy, the majority of my maternity clothes have been through at least 2 growing pregnant bodies. Some even more since I’ve let a few friends borrow them! So my maternity wardrobe is in desperate need of some updates.
The number one thing I look for in maternity clothing is comfort. Since there are loads of other annoying things that come along with being pregnant, I hate having to worry about my clothing being uncomfortable or a top riding up all the time. Add in the two wild, tiny humans that I chase everyday, and I really can’t deal with clothing that isn’t comfortable.
What I love about Pink Blush is that their clothes are not only stylish and comfortable, but totally affordable! Give them a follow on instagram so you can be in the loop on all of their great sales. Pink Blush also carries loads of regular women’s clothing too–see my post about from them last fall.
Pink Blush was kind enough to send me 3 pieces of maternity clothing and I love them all. First, I picked a comfortable maternity dress, the short sleeve cross back maternity dress in charcoal.
I’m wearing a size small here. This picture was taken just a month ago and I can’t believe how much bigger I am already! I know that this will fit me all through my pregnancy, and even after, when that baby weight is still sticking around.
I love how comfortable and easy it is…AND IT HAS POCKETS! It looked great bare legged with sneakers, and I’ve also worn it with combat boots and a flannel.
My favorite pregnancy clothes at the moment are tops that I can wear with leggings and cover the butt…even though this is a dress, it still looks great with some leggings. And that way I can get even more use out of it…hello preschool pickup outfit. Or chilly fall morning at Target with two wild toddlers outfit…
They have loads of maternity dresses, from super causal and comfy to beautiful maxis to cocktail. I knew I had a couple weddings and events coming up, so I wanted to get a dress that I could wear multiple times. I picked this burgundy lace maternity dress.
I love the length of it and that I can get away going bare legged with it until it gets really cold out. I wore it with suede booties, because the day of the first wedding we went to, it was pretty chilly and I knew my feet would be cold in pumps.
When I ordered it, in size small, I was worried it wouldn’t fit me in December, but I was pleasantly surprised at how stretchy and comfortable the material is. So I know it will fit me for the holidays.
I also really love this dress in cobalt blue, but I thought the burgundy was more fitting for the events I want to wear it to.
The last item I chose was this crochet sleeve maternity top in olive. I knew it would look good with jeans and the crochet detail makes it look a little bit dressier.
I wore it for our family photo session at the local cider mill and it was the perfect fall color for photographs.
This top is very fitted, and although it fits great now, I know once I’m huge and in my third trimester it probably won’t work. But it is the perfect style to wear with a tiny bump and jeans. I love the pretty crochet detailing.
