By now, you probably all know that I love a good style post. It’s been a hot week here in the mitten, so it’s feeling like summer already. For a good few months I could get the tiny humans to take these selfie shots with me. But, not anymore. They’re too cool for their mama now.
I wanted to share a little bit of what my outfits have looked like this past week or so. Even though you mostly see my style in Stitch Fix reveal posts, I wear so much more than Stitch Fix. Some of my favorite places to shop are Gap, TJ Maxx, and Target–obviously. This post contains affiliate and referral links, if you shop from my blog I may be compensated for clicks or purchases made.
Sunday. I wore this tulip sleeve blouse from my March Stitch Fix with these white skinnies to church last Sunday. I try to wear my white pants when I’m going to be around the tiny humans a minimal amount of time, but they still got some nice stains on them. Nothing a little soak in oxi clean couldn’t fix. My sandals are Sam & Libby from Target, maybe 2 summers ago. My “inspire” key necklace is from The Giving Keys, read about their story and mission here.
Monday. We took our first zoo trip of the spring. I thought, I would for sure need a cardigan because I’m always cold. But it was so hot. Definitely not needed. This Skies Are Blue fringe cardigan from my 3rd Fix is still one of my favorite items. My mombie tank is from Still Rad, and it’s a staple in my mom uniform. These boyfriend jean shorts are an older style from the gap, here’s a similar pair, and my TOMS are also a few years old, but this pair is super cute and I kind of want them.
Wednesday. We met some friends for a playdate at the park. I wore my super comfy Loveappella swing tank from My Second Stitch Fix with my boyfriend denim shorts and my new favorite sandals from Old Navy. Although these lace up sandals are adorable, I would not recommend them for chasing toddlers at the park, they have zero arch support. I was totally envious of my friend Megan’s Birkenstocks…I want a pair.
Thursday. Hey, there’s my girl and her baby. On Thursday we had a little Target run before we picked up Eli from his last day of preschool. Maxi skirts are one of my summer wardrobe staples. I get chilly in air conditioning so I like to have my legs covered, but they’re still airy and so comfortable. This is an older one from Target, but they have the same style, just different prints currently. My vest is from thredUp for only $12.57 and is in perfect condition! If you want to try thredUp for yourself, use my referral link and get $10 off your first order. (Emmy’s skort is also from thredUp, it’s Kardashian Kids and was only $4.50. Her moccs are c/o Freshly Picked and her tee was Eli’s, from Dear Cub.)
Thursday Night. I attended a super fun event at pottery barn kids last night. It was so nice to spend the night with other mamas and hear some awesome bloggers speak. And now I want Emmy’s new room to be all pottery barn kids…if only that fit into our budget! I wore my awesome Level 99 yellow jeans from my March Stitch Fix and this airy, striped tank I found at TJ Maxx. The brand is One Clothing and it has a zip up back! I found a similar linen one at Madewell. My purse is Lucky Brand and it is the only purse I have used for the past 5 or 6 years, they don’t make this style anymore, but have a couple good cross body options now. I love this darker leather one with fringe, and this is a similar style, just smaller.
Friday. It’s another hot one today. And I’m on day 5 of not washing my hair, so it’s another mom braid today. I have a hair appointment later and I’m really looking forward to getting my hair washed. Does anyone else find it so relaxing? This whole outfit, except for the sandals, is from thredUp. The free people shorts were a steal at only $12.49 and the sleeveless chambray button up was $6.75. This open crochet top is going to be perfect over my bathing suit up north this weekend, too. My sandals are super old, and I don’t even remember where they were from.
Check back here for my June Stitch Fix reveal on June 1st, along with another blogger link up!
