We have been enjoying our spring weather here in Michigan and making the most of it. Emmy loves the freedom of running and exploring, and Elijah just needs to get some of his crazy three year old energy out. And when I make them come inside, there are tears, even if they have been outside for hours.
Today was a little gloomier, so our zoo plans turned into Barnes and Noble train table plans. Which was still fun for the kiddos.
Barnes and Noble Style.
Eli’s Tee: Hatch for Kids. I have been wanting this tee for Eli for so long. And I think I entered every single giveaway possible, but when they ran an Easter promo I got it and was super psyched. I may have gotten our Panera to go today, because taking your son’s tee shirt off in a restaurant is generally frowned upon. I am not risking getting this gem stained.
gray skinnies: babyGap.
sneakers: Converse. He told me today that his shoes were untied. He didn’t accept my answer that they don’t need to be tied and that is just the style of them.
Emmy’s top: Gymboree. I so rarely shop there, but when I was on the hunt for the perfect Easter dress I came across this adorable peplum chambray top and couldn’t pass up a good clearance find.
number leggings: babyGap.
moccs: Freshly Picked, thrifted. I am loving this coral color for spring.
Navy All Day.
leggings: babyGap. You’d think that I make her stand against that brick wall and take pictures all the time by the way she stands there and poses…blogger kid problems.
shoes: Crazy 8. Aren’t the doggies so adorable and fun?
bow: mina loves bows. She wore it for about a minute. Then handed it to me. I always have bows in my pockets thanks to this girl.
70 Degrees Style.
romper: babyGap, thrifted. This romper is like a sweater, so I didn’t feel guilty about putting her in shorts when it was only 70 out. Apparently, my husbands rule for shorts is 65 degrees, so he didn’t think I was an unfit mother at all.
chambray shirt: Zara. I love layering it like a cardigan on my babe.
socks: babyGap. I can’t stand how cute girlie socks like this look with her FP moccs.
moccs: Freshly Picked, thrifted.
Costco Shopping Wear.
Eli’s tee: Still Rad, but I got it on zulily back in november. I can never resist cool tee’s for this kid, especially ones that throwback to my teen years. Still Rad has this print in a cool tank now, which would be perfect for summer!
jeans: babyGap, thrifted. I love how they are distressed, and Eli loves to put his Lightning McQueen in the holes…the my mom isn’t a fan though.
Emmy’s romper: babyGap.
jean jacket: Faded Glory, thrifted. I bought this for Eli when he was tinier, totally works on my girl too.
moccs: Freshly Picked. When she grows out of these I am going to be so bummed.
Dressing the littles for spring is way too much fun. Although, I constantly have something soaking in the laundry room.
Do you have designated play clothes for your kids? I feel like we don’t have much stuff that I use strictly for play, and I don’t really know what other moms normally do. But I do know that some things (sidewalk chalk) are a pain to get out of clothes.
And I totally have a love-hate relationship with the neighbors sandbox.
