Spooky is Eli’s new favorite word.
He gets a Halloween card in the mail from my nana–it’s a spooky card.
He sees a ghost at the store–it’s spooky.
It’s dark upstairs and he doesn’t want to go alone–because it’s too spooky.
So that is the kind of weekend we had, lots of Halloween fun. Spooky Halloween fun.
We carved our pumpkins on Friday night.
Daddy took care of the carving, while I roasted pumpkin seeds.
Elijah picked out Armor Up Baymax and Emaline wanted Tinkerbell, or as she says “pink.”
Then on Sunday we went to Zoo Boo. We had awesome weather for it.
We had a couple sad little monkeys but they rallied and had fun.
Maybe it’s a tradition for Emaline to cry in a Halloween photo:
Neither kid wanted to wear their masks much, sometimes we made Eli put his on when he was approaching a treat station.
Elijah loved the corn maze. He finished pretty quickly. In case you have no clue what the costumes are; we are all characters from Big Hero 6.
Elijah is Hiro Hamada and Emaline is Honey Lemon–both the superhero versions, or as Eli called them “armor up ones.” RJ is healtcare Baymax and I am normal Go Go Tomago. Because we let our 3 and a half year old tell us what to do…
I’m pretty proud of the purse I DIYed for her.
We are still enjoying this awesome fall weather in Michigan, I hope you are too.
And I’ll leave you with one more sad costume picture.
