It’s been a little while since I’ve posted about what my little monkeys have wore. Mostly because they haven’t been dressed the normal, stylish way they often are because I’m worried about their “good” clothes being ruined since they come over the the new house so often, which has basically been a non stop construction zone for the past month, always being painted or covered in drywall dust.
bummies: Little Adi & Co, thrifted. I feel like when Eli was this age, I wanted to dress him older, like a little man. But with Emmy, I want her to look as baby-like as possible, because she is so not a baby anymore. And bummies are perfect for that. Plus they showcase her chunky thighs.
baseball tee: American Apparel.
toddler bib: c/o Augie & Lola. Emmy is in and out of teething these days, but when she is teething, she’s such a drooly mess. These toddler bibs are perfect for absorbing the drool and are so stinking cute, right?
moccs: Freshly Picked, thrifted.
tee: Hatch for Kids. I’m sure Eli will look at how I dressed him at 3 and be like, really mom? But I can’t help buying him graphic tees that have things from my childhood/teenage years on them…like this Say Anything tee with Lloyd Dobler in the most iconic teenager-professing-his-love-seen ever.
shorts: baby Gap, last summer.
shoes: Old Navy, I call them his “fake Natives” and he totally picked up on that. oops!
romper: Gia Rose Designs. Again, the more baby-like the better. And, a bonus feature of most rompers is that little miss cannot remove her diaper at nap time when she is wearing a romper. Thank goodness.
sandals: SaltWater, thrifted.
Please, no comments about letting my toddler play with fireworks.
tee: Genuine Kids by OshKosh.
Avengers shorts: mended by Eli’s super awesome Noni.
Light up Lightning McQueen shoes: crocs, thrifted. These crocs are seriously a three year old’s dream. They have Lightning on them AND they light up. Now I just need to get poor miss Emaline a pair of light ups because when Eli is stomping them she also stomps her shoes and FP moccs definitely do not have the light up capabilities.
dress: babyGap, it’s actually a top, but it works as a super short dress I think. I can’t ever resist a sweet white top. Even if I don’t let her eat with it on.
moccs: Cherry Freshly Picked, thrifted. Some days Emmy is the perfect little model.
I really couldn’t resist posting this one.
Happy Friday Friends!
I’ve updated this post with links to the cool handmade shops my kids were wearing…sorry I forgot them! Remember to shop small.
