Basically since the moment in October when RJ came home from work and told me he booked us a trip to Disney World, I have been thinking about what Emaline is going to wear in Walt Disney World. I have been thinking about Disney Word in general really all the time, but her clothes are a fun part of the planning for me. We have plenty of Disney clothing: Sophia tees and Mickey sweatshirts and Elsa leggings, that I found for great deals at the Disney Store, Target, and h&m. I can never resist a great clearance find, especially if it has our favorite characters on it.
But I wanted a few things for little miss to wear that were a little more special than just a graphic tee from the Disney Store. So here are a couple outfit ideas to look hip in the most magical place on earth:
I love everything Swanky Shank makes. Everything. When I saw this baseball tee I knew it would be perfect for our Disney World trip. I bought one for Elijah, too. So they will be matchy matchy. The plaid skort that I found on clearance and the Mickey bow make the gender neutral top just a little more girlie. The hightops will be perfect for a day of character meeting and running from ride to ride.
I noticed that the majority of Emaline’s Mickey and Minnie clothes are red or have red in them. She doesn’t have much pink, which is totally my fault because I project my aversion to pink onto her wardrobe. I had Chelsea, from Kickin’ Legs, make her these shorts with pink Minnie bows down the sides to add a little pink, without being like completely pink. And they will look perfect with her pink chucks and this Clubhouse Crew graphic tee. She can stay comfortable for a busy day at the park. Speaking of the park, did you catch that this bow has all the best Mickey treats from Disney on it? I’m completely smitten with it and I hope that Emaline will actually keep it in her hair.
Main Street Leggings.
We have fast pass reservations for the Celebrate the Magic fireworks show, and I expect the evenings to be a bit cool. These leggings with this sweet top I bought at a mom2mom sale will be perfect. I couldn’t resist styling this outfit with her silver mocss–they’re named
“Baby, You’re a Firework” so it’s super appropriate. And little miss will need a sweatshirt so she can stay cozy.
Now I need to get back to the reality that is Michigan and almost 4 days of snow. 70 degree weather and Walt Disney World cannot come soon enough.
