Elijah is almost three and a half and he is hilarious. I know, I know. I’m his mama so I think that most things he does are amazing, but really, the kid is funny.
And he knows it.
Here are some of the latest things he has said that make me laugh (or want to cry because he is so stinking sweet.)
“But what’s the point of that?” After a conversation about why he can’t play with tweezers.
After I put my hair up in a top knot: “I like your hair ball mama. Auntie Moll has big hair balls but yours is a little hair ball.”
“Oh no! Mama’s boobies are on the floor!” When he saw my bra on the bathroom floor.
“Kendal calls underpants, underwears! Is that funny?” He likes to ask if things are funny, just to double check that they are.
“Earth to Mama! Earth to Mama!” when I had a migraine and may have been on the couch possibly ignoring him.
and later that day, “Mama I want to kiss your head.” kisses my head. “Now, do you feel better? Daddy said you’ll feel better.”
“Guess what? I love you!” Whenever he says this, it always makes me super happy…unless its 11:30 and he will not go to bed.
“I don’t know why I was acting like that. Maybe I’m just hungry. Maybe thats why I was acting like that.” He says this to me, after he was being very…difficult, the entire day.
I’m drinking coffee, exhausted because Emmy hates to sleep and He gives me a kiss…“Whoa, mama. You’re hot today.” (He giggles.) “Your lips, they’re hot.”
What do your kids say that make you laugh? Or make you think that there is no way this is a normal thing for a toddler to say…
