I love dressing my kids for holidays. I love making Eli look like a little man with a bowtie and Emaline wearing beautiful dresses. I also am a sucker for a good holiday themed top. (I blame baby Gap for having so many bunny clothes this spring.) Here’s what my tiny humans are wearing for all of our Easter festivities.
Cookie Decorating Party Wear.
I restrained myself from buying eli any bunny clothes, mostly because I couldn’t find anything that I really loved for him. So that made it okay to buy Emaline extra, right? She wore this at our cookie decorating party.
bunny tee: babyGap. The back shows the back of the bunny with the sweet bunny tail.
leggings: h & m. I feel like we get so much more use out of pants. Maybe baby girl just has a really long torso, but so many of her leggings have fit her for awhile and tops she wears only a handful of times.
moccs: Freshly Picked, of course. Golden Rod is such a good color for spring.
Emmy’s Easter Fair Style.
I was tempted to put them in nicer clothes for the Easter Fair, but I knew that they’d be running around and playing so I wanted them to be comfortable and easy.
cardi: h&m. It is officially too small to button over her tummy.
top: babyGap. It’s kind of hard to tell, but it has a bunny print. The flutter sleeves are so girlie, I love this top.
sneakers: Converse, hand me down. There’s just something so cool and fun about high top chucks, I love them on my girl. I am determined to find her a few more colors for summer.
Easter Bunny Visit Wear.
We saw so many kids at the mall in their Easter Easter outfits. Brothers in matching suits, girls in big fancy dresses with shiny white shoes. We went for a more relaxed, cool look.
dress: Little Hip Squeaks. I remember being little and hating wearing dresses and tights. It was like torture. So I’m drawn to dresses that look stylish, and are still super comfy for my girl.
cloud tights: babyGap. I think these tights would be perfect with rain boots on a blustery day.
moccs: Freshly Picked, thrifted.
bunny ears: Target, dollar spot. RJ told me that I couldn’t get Elijah a pair.
Eli’s Easter Bunny Visit Wear.
I spy a sneaky little Eli hand trying to get the m&ms.
baseball tee: Riley Clay. I thought this tee was super appropriate for Easter. And we got a few compliments while walking around Somerset.
jeans: Osh Kosh. So, I am liking Osh Kosh more than babyGap jeans on my skinny monkey. They fit his tiny tush nicer, so he doesn’t have the constant poopy pants look.
suede shoes: Cherokee, Target.
Easter Party Fancy.
Baby girl will definitely need a cardi to go over this one, since it does not feel like spring at all.
dress: Gymboree. I totally regret buying this in a 12-18, I should’ve sized up so she can wear it more than just once.
ruffle butt tights: I looked all over for ruffle butt tights, apparently they don’t make them for toddlers anywhere, so I ordered these from amazon, in case you are ever in a similar predicament.
shoes: Cherokee, Target. Buy one get one 50% off sale last week! Finding fancy shoes for a walker in a size lower than 6 is like an annoying treasure hunt. Target came through, like always. But I had to go to 3 different stores to get her size, not like I minded Target-hopping.
bracelet: Gymboree. Emaline is so into jewelry lately.
polo and bowtie: Crazy 8.
chinos: Carters. I was finally successful at buying ahead for one of the kids. I am the worst at predicting what size my kids will be in for future seasons. Emaline has an entire 18 month summer wardrobe that is definitely not going to fit her when it is actually weather appropriate. And Eli still fits into shorts he wore the summer he was one.
shoes: TOMS. I’m taking a chance on these, because I bought him 2 different pairs when he was tinier and they didn’t ever work out, his feet were too chubby or he had a hard time walking in them. So I am hoping now that he is bigger they will work better. I couldn’t pass up a great clearance price on them.
suspenders: Zulily. They don’t carry the checked at the moment, but they usually have a couple different colors to choose from. We will see if he keeps these on. When I was taking these flat lay pics, he told me “I don’t think these are going to work.”
