I’m so happy to be participating in a link up with some other great bloggers. At the end of my post is a link to check out their Thankful Heart posts, so I hope you’ll check them out too!
I’m going to share some things that I am thankful for each Sunday in November.
This week, I am so thankful for the amazing weather we have had this past week. It is the most beautiful fall weather I can ever remember having in November. Ever. Weeks like this one make me so glad that we live in Michigan. (And I want to remember this when is negative whatever degrees and icy and I can’t bring myself to leave the house in a couple months.) The beautiful fall colors and warm temperatures.
76 degrees and sunny? In November, in Michigan? Yes please.
We spent so much time outside, even with two kiddos that had colds and runny noses and aren’t yet adjusted to the time change. Being outside just made them so happy and seem less like crabby tiny humans with runny noses who haven’t yet adjusted to the time change.
I have so much laundry and house work that needs to be done, but really, who cares?
Soon it will be cold and we won’t be able to spend afternoons in the backyard playing in leaf piles and chasing each other around the big tree or eat lunch on the picnic table.
I am also thankful for awesome neighbors who gave us their swing set since they got a new one. Eli is pretty psyched about it.
He wanted to help RJ and his grandpa and his uncle co co with all of the assembly and moving of his new “fort swing set.” I can’t wait to see how happy he is to get a telescope for it.
