My son spends the majority of summer like this:
Running around outside, shirtless in either basketball shorts or swim trunks, wild hair, carefree. So the days that I can get him into a stylish outfit are definitely the minority. But it’s summer. So I go with it.
There have been a few occasions the past couple of weeks where I wrangle him into some cute outfits…and it appears I have only actually got pictures of one such occasion. (Oh, and I definitely make him wear a shirt to church. Since I am never on time to church; I can never ever take pictures of my adorable monkeys beforehand. )
Hey Ho Style.
sunnies: Target. Oh, how I love the dollar spot.
top: H&M. I saw this online and had to get it in the store. I would put him in cool band tees everyday if I could. I feel like the size 2-4 tops at H&M were made for my tall, skinny monkey.
sneakers: Nike. I got these Air Jordans on ebay to match RJ’s. Elijah is slightly obsessed.
teepee tattoo: Wee Gallery. I created a monster with the temporary tattoo thing. He cries when his tattoos wear off and then wants a new one every day. But at least Wee Gallery makes super cool kiddo tattoos.
Now for a little baby girl style.
The One and Only Time She Wore These Osh Kosh Overalls.
overalls: Osh Kosh B’Gosh. These were way in the back of her closet and I discovered them, realized they were 6 months and put them on her. And they barely fit. But I squeezed her in them, because…they are Osh Kosh overalls! I wish I wouldn’t have forgot about them.
onesie: Disney Baby. Eli wanted her to wear this “mikey sully” top. Even though it is just Mike and not Sully. Then I told him that he wore it when he was a baby and he was happy that “emmy wear my mikey sully shirt.”
The book she is reading, Romeo and Juliet, is Baby Lit and is super amazing. We have 3 of them and I want to get every single one. Also, notice my son is wearing basketball shorts and no shirt.
Le Petite Princess.
tee: Knox and Lola. I like that this is a princess tee, yet it is not girlie at all. Plus it is super soft. Knox and Lola has awesome tees, and I have a list of ones I want for the kids (Milk Wasted for Emmy, Waves and Babes for Eli…)
shorts: babyGap. Bubble shorts just look too perfect on diapered butts and chubby thighs, don’t they??
Eli’s basketball shorts are babyGap as well. He wants to be in her crib whenever she is, and if she is asleep, he talks in his quietest/loudest whisper voice. He is also very into jumping on the bed right now. He doesn’t discriminate which bed either.
