Elijah is in preschool 3 times a week, from 9:00 to Noon. He LOVES preschool and talks about his day the whole ride home. Since he is so busy the entire morning, he is starving when he hops into the van after school, and always wants to eat right away. We’re two months in to preschool and since I don’t want to stop and grab lunch for him 3 days a week, I pack him a lunch.
At first, I tried to do it the night before, after they were in bed. But this pregnant mama found herself too tired most nights to go back downstairs and fix lunches. So I decided I would let the tiny humans help me pack their lunches for the week on Monday afternoon. So far it is working out great. I set up a little Lunch Packing Station on the kitchen table or counter and give them a couple choices. They love having the control and I know that they will have a well balanced lunch to eat.
